1. What made you decide to study in Taiwan?

I had interest in wireless technology and Taiwan's information and communications technology (ICT) companies play a key role in the global supply chain for electronics products. Hence I decided to pursue my higher study in Taiwan.

2.  Briefly tell us about the program you are studying. What subjects are you studying? What have you enjoyed the most in your studies?

have joined for PhD. in Electrical Engineering division of Computer Science and Information Engineering, Chang Gung University, Taoyuan, Taiwan. I enjoyed here the Professor’s advice to carry forward the research work with lots of patience.

3. How is studying in Taiwan when compared to studying and being a student in your home country? (Teaching Quality、Environment、School Equipment、Laboratory or others)

The main difference I found here is Laboratory. Here the Laboratory instruments are equipped with the latest technology and the Professors have lots of patience to motivate a student towards new innovations.

4.  What has been the most difficult part about applying to study in Taiwan? How did you overcome the difficulty?

The most difficult part is to provide financial statement even though we are selected for the scholarship. I had applied for study loan, but due to a short period of time that was not processed. At the last moment, some of my relatives provide me the necessary expenses.

5.  What do you plan to do after you have finish your studies in Taiwan? Would you like to stay in Taiwan?  Why? 

After my graduation, I like to stay in Taiwan to continue post-doctoral fellowship. The people here are cordial and the environment is nice. I should contribute my knowledge in the development process of this country since this country gave me an opportunity to study here to gain some quality knowledge.

6.  How do you think studying in Taiwan can benefit you in your future career?

I have learned the most recent advances in the field of communications which is the crucial requirements in the digital world. Hence I think studying in Taiwan is beneficial for my future career.

7.  What do you see as your key achievements when studying in Taiwan?

Publishing high-quality research papers are the key achievements when studying in Taiwan.

8. What advice do you have for other interested overseas students who want to come to Taiwan to study?

Taiwan is a modern, free, democratic society whose people are hardworking, fun-loving, educated and friendly. Here in Taiwan, you can find the latest technology equipment and friendly professor.
