Taipei Zoo/Felicia Boendadjaja

It's better to visit the zoo from morning, because the zoo is large and consist of many animals from all continents. After get in the zoo, visit Visitor Center & Information Service which is just after the entrance, where you can ask for Zoo's information and take the map (they provide the English version too). The zoo is divided into 2 large areas, indoor & outdoor. If you are afraid that the animals will touch you, relax, all the animals are caged and there are a huge distant between the animals and visitors. So the animals won't get disturb and you can freely take picture. Taipei Zoo is designed like a garden with plenty of fun, interesting animals, and lots of space for kids to run and have fun while parents stroll through the wide and stroller-friendly paths. If you want to take picture closely with animal, but scared of it or you want it to look more natural and closer to the animals, Taipei Zoo also provide a lot of animals' statue that look like the real animals. My favorite part in this zoo is the Giant Panda House where the "panda diplomacy" lived. Like the other zoo, Taipei Zoo also sells the zoo’s souvenirs, but those souvenir shops are divided based on the animals’ cage. Like in the Giant panda House, they only sell pandas’ souvenir, and so on.
