Novi comes from Indonesia and currently studies chemical engineering in Taipei, Taiwan. On the one hand, as a Ph.D. student, her school life is very serious—do experiment, research, read and write papers, and make presentations. On the other hand, as a Muslim, she goes to Mosque to pray and learn Quran every Sunday and visits beautiful places in Taiwan with friends during holidays. On the morning of Eid al-Fitr, Novi called her mother who lives in her hometown in Indonesia and shared her life in Taiwan with her mother.
